Perfect amount of water for beginning seedlings???

Hello, I have been overwatering my good seeds i think and they have pretty much died, so now I have 6 whitewidow seeds growing and I noticed on one leaf on the small seedling like, two small brownish red spots, really small, can that be from overwatering. I am going to let these seedlings soil dry out good before I water them again, WHAT is the perfect amount of water to give seedlings for the first 2-3 weeks while they are developing there roots, and to keep from overwatering them. I have them in 16oz. plastic cups with drainage holes, I also just bought a upto 15ml dropper today so I can start using that instead. I appreiciate the advice!!

I cannot give you an exact ml or even a perfect amount of water but your plan is correct. Let the soil dry out and then slowly water until your cup drips. The watering amount varies greatly and is dependent upon many variables such as pot size, growing medium, drainage, light, temperature, humidity, etc... When my seedlings have established roots in a 1 gallon pot they take anywhere from 320-500ml of water every 72 hours on the dot hope that helps. When the soil is drying the roots have to seek out water and makes the plant have a stronger foundation in my opinion.
