I just made a batch of soil for my next grow following subcools supersoil recipe, minus one major
ingredient, a good base soil. I had a bale of high quality peat left from the vegetable garden so I used straight peat mixed with perlite about 5/2 as my base. I have every ingredient and I added a little bit of compost too. I'm assuming this soil won't be as hot as normal super soil, but will it still be too hot for seedlings and clones? Will I be able to use this soil right from the start or should I place it in the bottom half of my 3 gallon root pouches?
