I'm a new patient being treated for PTSD and IBS, and I work a 8-5 desk job. I've been wondering how the laws work around this. I have to medicate within an hour of waking up most or all morning due to my IBS, and so I'm obviously pretty medicated driving to work and my truck always reeks of good herb. I'm just wondering if I am risking getting an OUI? I would think so? I've been smoking for 10+ years and have a very good tolerance, so I've never felt like my driving was a problem and I've never been in any accidents or anything like that. I know some states say you're not allowed to drive if you even have some in your system, but we all know it would take a long time to clean our system out. I'm currently in the process of making alternative forms of medicine (cannacaps, oil) so I'm hoping I won't have to worry about it while I have an alternative to flower, but I pretty much have to make all of my own stuff like caps when I need it because there's not much for a patient network in the county. Anyone? What's your opinions on medicating at work also? My boss is understanding and he's also my cousin who I've smoked with once or twice, so that's not really an issue here.
