I will update when i can, getting ready to be laid up for a few weeks from back surgery.
My Setup:
3x4x7 Sunhut Grow Tent
400w MH/HPS
Easy Cool 6" vented light hood
8" valueline fan for exhaust
My grow is as follows:
1 sativa from a seed i found on my bathroom floor. I call her MS for lack of anything more creative.
1 Utopia Haze from barneys farm
1 Purple pine berry (poor baby has been neglected recently and just transplanted into a larger pot)
1 California Hash Plant
1 Super Lemon Haze. (no pics yet)
All plants were started in an AG except for the PPB. i just used the paper towel germ method for that. I allow the plants to veg in the Ag for approx 2 weeks until i see vigorous root production coming out of the grow sponge.
I use FFOF and perlite for the medium with a 3:1 ratio approx. I like this mix bc of fast drainage and very little compacting.
A little background/timeline on the plants:
I found the MS on my bathroom floor in the end of May. I already had a small grow of Bluestreaks going and decided to grow it out and see what it was. Since the bluestreak were autoflowering I threw the MS in a closet with a CFl and set it to 12/12 after vegging for a week. It took almost 14 days to show sex. I originally thought it was a male and contemplated killing it, but decided i wanted pollen to make some seeds with the BS. Well to my suprise, she turned out to be a girl. at this point i threw her into my tent to go back to reveg and get bigger. Well she has been vegging since the middle of july. I started her on 12/12 on Oct 5. and she is starting to show pistils.
She has been topped and i am doing a sort-of SCROG with her.
Utopia Haze (feminized Seed):
Germed in Ag on 8-3, transplanted into my medium on 8-30. She was alittle slow to start growing after the transplant but has since took off like a....well a weed...
I have never seen fan leaves this large. She is coming along quite nice and i look forward to finishing her grow.
California Hash Plant (feminized Seed):
Also Started on 8-3 in the AG. moved to dirt on 6-30. the internode spacing on this compact bitch is unbelivable. There is about a 1/2" to 3/4" between the nodes. She has been thru a little watering trauma. ie lack there of, but i have worked thru that. She is still vegging bc i want to take a handful of clone bc she is supposed to be a fast flowering 45-55 days, and that will give me somesmoke while waiting for the UH and my MS to finish. She should have some good clone material in a few days. perhaps another week.
Purple Pine Berry (regular seed):
I picked up the PPB seeds at the Toronto Freedom Fest. I'm not sure the sex yet but should know soon. its kinda small due to neglect but i have transplanted it to a larger pot and she (wishful thinking) is doing better.
