Parents coming to visit

So im off in college and have my own apartment. My parents have never seen this place before and will be visiting in a week or two. I have 1 large ass blueberry bush in my closet with a 150W light. The blueberry is 66 days old today and has been in flower for 36 days and has some nice nugs. How do i keep them from hearing the airpump, smelling the pot, and seeing the light come from within my bedroom closet?

That might work. Mom and dad check out what i learned in botany :weed:

You know in restaurant bathrooms (in most) they have those automatic sprayers that let out some air freshner every 30 seconds or a minute. A buddy of mine used it in his grow room and u couldnt smell shit. Not sure if it would effect the plants tho ;p. Good luck.

I keep a lock on all my doors, noone is allowed in certain areas

Get a couple of big boxes to put your plants in. Put them in the corner of your closet. Camo it with dirty clothes and hung clothes and just make sure your mom does'nt try to do your laundry...lol

yeah, well it may be too late, the diy carbon filter worked for me, but fans sounds, you may have to temp shut them off

Buy some black plastic sheeting staple it to the door opening on the inside, close door, not light will come out. Get some of the bigger scented candles. That should get you by.

There it is! I always use music when I have friends over to cover the 50 fans inside the area. And the humidifier. Its funny though because sometimes they will glance towards the closet as if they hear something????!!!!111!!!!!

chances are that the parents will only be here for a short time... probably time enough to inspect my living quarters and then off we go to Starbucks and then Barnes and Noble bookstore.

I think i will use the plastic sheeting idea... i can shut the door and turn off the fan... stample a black trash bag to the inside (hope it doesnt melt) and then maybe pile stuff up against the door as to assure the parents wont look in my closet... dunno why they would but you know how weird parents can be

Me, personally. Id hang myself b4 i told them.

Edit: And im still in school!! Plastic sheets, boxes, bunch of shit piled up against each other to where they wont even bother to look at.

put a lock on the door and tell them the door is for maintanace only... only the maintanace man has the key... tell them it holds a hot water heater ect.. use the plastic ... the more you try to hide it the more your parents will know something is up. tack some dense insulation or a roxul board 6lb density to the door back to kill sound... i do it for sound proofing when recording bands... also if you can open up some windows to get air circulating in the appartment....

Tell them your gay. After that, I'm sure they won't notice the smell, see the light in the closet or hear any pumps. And you can bet, they'll want to get out of there as fast as possible.

you can get these little jars of shit that you poke holes in the top, and they help absorb smell.. they are, like 3-5 bucks each at any respectable hydro shop.. that and some incense or a big meal on the stove would help cover it up..

as for light, get some whether stripping or foil, and seal the inside of the door... just block it out.. maybe hang a sheet or thick blanket on the INSIDE of the door?

and the pump, Id say +1 for the music, or just have something on tv...

the airpump is my main concern... when its on you can hear it in any room of the apt... even with the tv on you can notice a buzzing noise and if you really want to find the source of the noise then it would lead right to the plants
