Well..... out of my 3 plants 2 papaya 1 hk
I pulled one out already assuming it was a male... by the balls I had noticed.
Unfortunately going on to read more into sexing. A male and female plant are almost identical during preflower, the tell tale sign are the pistallite.

can someone clarify....
is this bastard a male?!

naw man .... this bastardo is still growing... it just started showing its balls a couple days ago. I think he thinks I won't fight him or something.
They are only growing on a couple of the bud sites... I think i am going to give it a few more days before I chuck it. Such a hard thing to do :(

Those are males man. Although, for your own piece of mind, you can wait a few more days without getting into any trouble.

Uses the Rollitup profile
Just to clear it up ... that plant is still in veg state, and that's a good closeup of a preflower. Those preflowers don't do anything, the male plant will release pollen several weeks after flowering starts so you're safe until then.

FWIW I've never trusted my judgement of the preflowers, because I've found myself to be wrong several times, so I always induce flowering to actually determine sex.
