Hi this is my first run at any sort of hydro I have just brought a single pot oxy pot if this goes well I’m going to get some more but my question is can I veg my plants in my little veg area just in the net pots with out putting them in the acutel oxy pot it’s self I hope this makes sense any help would be great thank you

I would veg them in the oxypot, the roots will grow fast out of the netpot and then you wont be able to get the netpot it the oxypot without causing damage to the roots.

Yeah, i normally have my cuts in jiffys and then place it in the bottom or side of the netpot to make sure it does not dry out, i also take like 250ml or so from the res in a ½l plastic bottle with a few holes in the lid and spray the jiffy the first day or two until the roots are long enough to get splashed constantly, dont let the cut/roots dry out.

And make sure the netpot is covered enough with pepples to not let lights into your oxypot, it should grow the roots quickly towards the waterline and then it will feed itself, kind of. :)

Thank you this is my first time so I’m a bit nervous lol I was thinking about putting my cut into a grodan cube first so before putting it into the oxy pot and get the roots to come through the cube first if that makes sense

Yeah that makes sense, its the same i do, i just use jiffy 7 cubes, but i completely root it in those from the start but i guess you can put it in the somehow now, im not sure tbh.
