I have a space that is 3'x3' and rougly 7' tall powered by a 1000 watt hps air cooled good. I am not sure what would be best if I just use dual ventalation in the room or if both the closet and hood should have there own seperate intake and exhaust.

my thoughts are the more ventilation the better....you never can have too much

Yea isk has a good point ......2 separate fans r always usually needed with a strong light especially in small spaces for several different reasons(heat,fresh air)being the main ones...
