Yeah, the Constitution does have a "self Destruct" clause in it. IF 51% of the people find fault with the administration, it must step down.
Problem is, 51% of the people can never agree on anything. The power base in this country makes sure of it. Do any of you remember something called "John Brown's Raid'? It was a group of working class dissidents of varied descent (white, black, native american...) who stood up and fought against the oppression of the corupt government.
After John Brown's raid, a campaign was started through subversive publications and hired mercinaries to stir up racial issues. The "poor" suddenly became the poor blacks and poor whites, who were convinced that it is each other that we should hate. It wasn't that an employer tried to save money by hiring someone who whould work more cheaply, but 'that black bastard stole your job,' or that "those whites hate you and try to keep you down."
How is a guy, white, black or whatever, gonna "keep you down" when they are completely powerless? They funded hate groups and appointed judges who have since gotten us at each other's throats, all the while they sit up in their country clubs, laughing at us for not realizing who the real enemy is.
I mean, have any of you heard of this Jena 6 thing? Some rednecks pulled a shotgun on these black kids a few months back, and one of the black kids took the gun off of them. (it was a 12 gauge with a lazer sight) A judge then tried the kid for theft of a firearm, and aggrivated assult, and then later swtiched the crime to second degree attempted murder.
This is racially motivated. Hands down. But any revolution in America is going to require thatjust more than half of us can agree on a plan. Bush, by the letter of the Consititution, has had several moments where he should have had to step down. Remember, these guys in the Bush administration may be evil assholes, but one thing that they are not is stupid. They got the power, and will be hard pressed to let it go.
