over crowed plants

i have a growtent and am flowering 1 4ft 6" pukka skunk an 6 bubblegum between 2ft 9" an 3ft 3" they seem 2 be growing at a rapid rate i have had 2 bruse my pukka plant be cause it,s getting 2 tall,by the time flowering is over it will have out grown the height of me tent,there is hardly any light hiting the bottom of the plants due to over crowding,i use a 400w hps 2 rvk out take fans an 3 fans an a light spreader,this is my 3rd grow but never have they grown this big b4,it must be down 2 the HESI nutes im using it,s a set of 4 bottles,should i stick a 4ft floursent in at the bottom of the tent so the bottom half can get light or will it screw up the plants with the floursent being a red spectrum an the hps being a blue spectrum

Wow i have a similar problem but dont know the answer... what i did was trim all around the bottom of the plant and got rid of all the crappy little stuff to increase air flow... then i looked down on the plant and trimmed all the large fan leaves to allow the light to get through to the other bud sites. This is the first time i have done this so i am interested to know how it will yeild.

first off, hps is red spectrum.. but if u messed up and meant to say MH (metal halide) , or if u meant to say blue spectrum for the fluoros, i forgive u.

As far as the spectrum , some people prefer to veg with a mix of blue and red spectrum , so its not like it will fuk it up.
