Outdoors Equator Flowering Problem

Hi here are my plants. The leaves are browning and yellow on the bottom of them. I sprayed them with flowering fertilizer yesterday and it hasn't helped. Should I change the soil to organic hummus and put them in bigger pots? Also one of them is purple? Plant some seeds and harvest the buds in a week or two from those pictured.

ok. updated with pics of trimming and transplanting and fertilizing i did during last night and yesterday morning during waxing gibbous of the moon. the plants are looking much better and the purple one is showing signs of happiness and growing some buds in the bottom. yay! check my grow journal for the pics
