Outdoor show an tell 2025

I have a Ground Hog that’s about to meet Mr Mossberg. I should have known better. I left the three plants I have in containers outside the fenced in area, due to space issues. The one I attached a photo of got munched the worst. It should come back, was a nice looking plant.
A lot of times the ones that get munched early turn into beast from the stress.

Fuckin dude got booted from every site out there, OG gave him a suspension and said he could come back if he apologized you know he said nope! Yeah it was tough one of the funniest and kindest people out here. I missed him on the forums he and dank masters are starting a site themselves DMOSG site. It's in the beginning joe already has his doodles up and garden pics, going outside next week. Some nice strains, phone home, blank triangle, danks stuff, few other I forget, pinesol is another.

Here are my way too many plants this year. The plants in pic one were started from seed on 4-19, they are og kush, girl scout cookies, lemon cherry gelato, ice cream cake, and one purple punch. I topped all of them so they have 8 main branches now. Pic 2 are clones I started 4-19 also, they are strawberry cheesecake, and a cross I made between strawberry cheesecake and 3x crazy. Pics 3, 4 & 5 are some other clones that I took earlier, then went on vacation for 10 days and the person watching them almost drowned them, took a month to recover but they look good now. What do you guys do with extra clones? I have a real hard time killing them, but don't have anything else to do. I plant 7 in my 45 gal pots and a few others in various places.

Arghh, that sucks. But like folks are saying, the plant may come roaring back tougher than ever.

We had a groundhog living under the back porch this spring. I tried a Havahart trap and after a few false starts managed to trap him and relocate the bugger. Something to consider anyway. The .22 would've been the next stop but fortunately the "eviction" worked.

Fortunately here in northern CA where I live, nothing eats my plants, meaning mammal. Our gophers are mainly sub terrain Ian, but they don't like the roots either. Not many rabbits but mine are in raised pots with a cage, the black tail deer eat weeds around the plant but never touch them.

Might be moles, moles eat worms and insects, not roots, and spend almost all of their time underground. If you see open holes it's a gopher, if you see mounds of dirt at the surface with no visible hole it's a mole. Moles almost never come above the surface but they do dig to the surface to push dirt up out of their burrows. So you'll see mounds of dirt at the surface and if you dig down you will eventually find the burrow underground that they were pushing the dirt out of.
My main pest is moles, they're not as bad as gophers but they eat the worms and tunnel through the roots looking for them. I live in Northern California and I have a buddy who's had gophers eat the roots right up to the stem till there's just a wilted rootless plant laying on the ground. Watch out for gophers they're around, I traped three in my garden last year, one completely killed a tomato plant.

These are California pocket gophers, your right, certain plants they just love, tomatoes, pumpkins. They even killed my pomegranate tree, it had a stalk about 3" diameter and they ate all the roots. We have sandy loam soil, I'm in Sonoma county, so they can burrow easily, I have fed those guys hundreds of dollars in plants over the years, it would be the garden of Eden without them. We also have badgers in the field digging for the gophers. Everything I do now is in raised beds or soft pots with wire mesh under them.
