Outdoor show an tell 2025

Getting things ready here in the pine tree state, Iam doing all light depo this yr after last yrs meltdown Iam done trying to grow full season plants here for flowers that dont cut it in this flooded legal state. I will be building a 15 x20 depo shack inside my hoop house no more moving them twice aday to the barn sounds easy right! First up will be Nigerian x bubble gum from 1212 seeds. I bought 3 pucks an man they are generous with the freebees I got 40 with my order 6 different strains should keep me busy most of the summer. Waiting a few more weeks to get cracking.

So glad to hear that you aren't throwing in the towel. It seems like last year was a particularly moldy year for folks on the East coast. Your grows are an inspiration for everyone here.

I have been playing with light depo for a few yrs now an it has always killed it just a lot of commitment moving them. Last yr was strange here drought all summer then mid sept we get 2-3 weeks of rain an fog just to much for the plants an Iam fully covered with plenty of fans running 24-7 same thing happens almost every year.

I'll be running mostly Lyme Rising Farms stuff, since they have shown a lot of septoria resistance. And I'll throw out Freeborn Selection's Lime 1 x Hindu and probably a Black Dogz from Biovortex as well. Even if they don't make I should be able to make seeds using the very resistant Salvisa from Lyme Rising Farms. My pollen chucks from Salvisa last year were very resistant to septoria as well.

I'm going to do some Puck BC3, from Crickets and cicada, and some Deep Chunk from CSI Humboldt, as well as some '79 Xmas Bud IBL and/or Uzbekistani IBL this year.

I'm afraid to run Puck outdoors here, densest buds I have ever grown! I tried Animal Cookies a few years ago and almost every bud ended up full of mold.

Yeah I've read that the density of the Puck's buds make it prone to rot, Deep Chunk is known for susceptibility to mold as well. It'll be an experiment it should be interesting to see how it goes.
It's very dry in the summer and early fall where I live. Last year I had zero powdery mildew or bud rot and I didn't spray anything on them or use any form of fungicide either. And, my plants were packed together with no space between them.


Tom Hill grew the Deep chunk outdoors for many years in Humboldt, there are dry areas in Humboldt county but even the driest parts of Humboldt are more humid than where I live, so I figure I might be alright with the Deep Chunk. As far as the Puck is concerned we'll see, hopefully it's not a mistake.

My Cherry Gar x Stumbleweed crosses, some ended up tasting like Cherry pipe tobacco, no wonder the bugs didn't eat it.
One was much milder and actually smokeable. The other one gave me nicotine cravings, swear it's tobacco.
Crossed it back into the Cherry Gar last year, so I'll pop some of those next season.
