Outdoor Hydroponics setup? In a trashcan? What?

I'ma be moving soon, to an area with a lot of open forest around me. Very open... Next summer I'd like to use some of that open area to grow some herbs- partly b/c itll be good exercise and fun, but mostly b/c I'll be supplying myself.

I know very little about growing, but I learn quickly and I'm innovative.
I sectioned my questions into 4 areas: lighting, soil, powering, and venting,
so please respond to these individually, so the thread doesn't get chaotic.

SOIL:
Alright, so I want to grow outside, but I want to use specialized soil mixtures to improve growth rate. I was thinking i could use large 30 gallon plastic trash bins to house my plants and the soil cultures, and simply bury these bins in the ground a few feet or so. I'm thinking of something strait outta Trailer Park Boys...:

What kind of soil mixture should I use? Nitrates, fertilizers, etc.
I need to purchase in bulk, for about 20-30 bins, so cheapest is best!

LIGHTING:

What kind of lights should I use (type and wattage)? how many? and what distance should they be from the growth? Especially for growth inside bins like these:

POWER:
Can I use solar panels to power my lights, or would the wattage demand too much? Should I just go with a generator?

VENTILATION:

how should i conduct the ventilation for growth inside these plastic bins? What kind of fans should I purchase? Is there such a thing as over-ventilation?

Any help from experienced growers is greatly appreciated!! TY for your help in advance!
[Also, If someone experienced could recommend a good, cheap place to buy 20+ potent female seeds (something relatively unique, tasty, and potent, you are willing to recommend), please let me know!]

THANKS FOR THE HELP

First, are you talking about growing with lights outdoors underground..... If that is your goal, good luck.... and it is one of the worst and unpractical ideas I have ever heard.....Solar panels would cost you a fortune, generators is very noticeable and hard to conceal...

lol, I said a "few feet". (Just so the bastards don't tip over). Its only extra work, has nothing to do with concealment- I shouldn't have even mentioned it. As for the solar panels, I was thinking long term, but I looked into the cost of 2nd hand panels and even that is too much.

But why would growing outside in a trash bin be a bad idea?
It won't stink up my house. Which is why it has to be outdoor- BUT I want indoor quality growth. Using a modified trash-bin should be able to give me indoor quality plants grown outside: I can put foil and lights and fans in it. It will be easy to transport and transplant, and it will allow for up to 2-3 months of growth.
-What is the negative in all this?
