Outdoor hydro help?

So i have a nice lil spot farely close to the house and i was thinking it would be to difficult to run a extension cord out there and do a rubbermaid hyrdo sprayer set up. Has anyone done this before or something similar? is there something i would need to do differently than if it were indoor?

In all actuality, I think I remember someone doing something very similar to what you're thinking of thinking of. It was right outside their door on the patio or something and I don't remember if it was supposed to be temporary or what....really, I could be making this whole thing up.
