Outdoor growing in Northern U.S.

I've done a couple indoor grows with decent success but now that summer is coming i really wanna try an outdoor grow. I live in Pennsylvania and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations as to when i should plant. I know i want to wait for the last frost but i'm not sure how to know when that is. I want to plant as early as possible to get some big plants but don't want to kill them all off with cold temps.

I live in PA too but it varies from region to region. I did a search on google for frost dates or something like that and found a website that explains it to you. Where i live it says by April 24 the chance of frost is only 10%. I figure I'll play it safe and probably put mine out first week of May. Maybe a little sooner if this ridiculously warm weather keeps up. Do a little research I'm sure you can find the frost trends for your specific area of PA. Good lcuk.

I'm in the northwest part of pa. I dropped 4 un-germed bag seeds in over the weekend just for fun. I'm thinking about maybe starting the rest of my bagseeds and some blue mystic i have indoors and then planting them outside in 2 or 3 weeks. Is there any problem with doing something like that ? I've never grown outdoors so any info would help

can anyone who has grown outdoors in this area let me know what their yields were? I realize it will vary from strain to strain and soil differences but i just want some sort of idea what i'm getting into

Last year my largest yielding plant was little over 8 ounces. I go from about mothers day to mid Oct., sometimes you can get away with planting 4.20 if your plants are large enough but we will still have a few frosts.

thats pretty awesome. thanks for the reply. i'm growing blue mystics which i believe are fairly simmilar to northern light so hopefully i'll get some similar results. I have a few mystics and some bagseed i started indoors and have vegged for about a week now. I have also germed about 25 mystic seeds so i'll drop those and the plants that i have started in tonight. I have a lot more seeds so i can always drop more in later if these ones get killed from the frost.
