So we finally decided to invest in some proper lighting. 400w mh/hps electronic dimable ballast that came with both bulbs. Just transplanted them yesterday and they have already grown a little overnight. Plants are : Durga Mata II (Paradise Seeds), Amnesia (forgot the breeder), Sleestack Skunk (Seedsman). The 20oz party cups hold Afghani (HGF) and Hindu Kush (Kiwi Seeds). All but one have sprouted already :joint::hump:
 
DSCN0867.JPG Just transplanted yesterday, and switched the timer to 12/12. All 6 are feminized seeds. The party cups house regular seeds (Afghani & Hindu Kush). Hoping to get a nice male to make some seeds when the time comes:-P
PS- Using Alaskan Fish Emulsion for vegging, and switching over to Earth Juice Bloom for flowering. Growing in home-made compost, so this run is 100% organic :weed:

DSCN0867.JPG A nice, quiet dimmable ballast / I have the little fan from the ballast blowing directly onto the plants. Don't even need any other ventilation as the lamp runs much cooler than I expected :mrgreen:

That's great ! I'm looking to up-grade at the first of the year myself....it will be my first HiD system...good luck and happy growing :-)
