I have a box of Osmocote smart-release plant food outdoor and indoor and I was wondering if it would be good for growing weed. It is a bunch of little pellets and it says it slowly releases it for 4 months. I'm not really trying to spend a lot on nutes and I also would like to use something (like these pelets) where I would only have to apply it once or twice.
Does anyone know about this plant food and if it's a good nute for growing weed?

I can't respond about Osmocote from personal experience. But in general, "Timed-release" type nutes deliver "too little, too slow" for cannabis, which is a "High energy" plant. Cannabis lives out it's whole life span in less than a year, it wants everything it can get -NOW!

Hope I'm not to late dude.
Osmocote+ is awsome. I read about it at 4 2 0 magazine. Docbud is the man. Do a search. His hempy/OC+ is fantastic. I am using it on my current grow mixed with Dynamite. same type stuff, was on sale real cheap. So I have OC+/Dyn 50/50 mix and my plants in hempy are growing like crazy.
