It works totally decent for guerrilla grows if they're in ground and you letting nature do the watering thing. I had some Big Bombs hit 7 feet (untopped) inna woods using osmocote "tomato shake and feed" It doesn't last as long as it says in my opinion. What I did was dig holes big enough to put a 5 gallon bucket in. Amended the soil in the bucket with it accordingly. Poured it back into the hole and used that.
Then just came back and topdressed them (after 2 months) with it once a month as per instructions when the plants were getting bigger cause their needs were higher to keep everything healthy and green. I'll use it again for sure on some in ground places. Another plus is tossing it around the surrounding vegetation.
I wouldn't use it in a container though.
