Just curious if anyone out there has tried this or could possibly make me comfortable with trying this? Based off of NPK ratios, would this combination work as an organic substitute to shooting powder?

Nectar for the gods:

Herculean harvest 0-10-0
(Double the dose?)

Humboldt natural:

Deuce Deuce 0-0-22
(Double the dose?)

Any imput on this topic would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Snoob

whats shooting powder??
And those NPK numbers are waaaaay off.
Why would anyone need that much potassium?
Go with a meal based nutrient.
Even NPK, like 5/5/5
nothing is needed past that.
If you are using chemicals, you are in the wrong area

ahh, I see, just be reaaal careful man, and I wouldn't use that after you get your compost done.
I've od'ed my plants on potassium before (or at least that was my conclusion)
I've found that past the regular amendment that extra potassium didn't really help much.
One thing I would higly recommend... if you want potassium, try langbeinite
sul/po/mag
good shit, and sulfur is commonly overlooked for its attributes, terpine development in particular.

You'll have all the humic acids that you could ever want when your pimp-compost is done.

pulled the tarp off today to let it get some rain. gonna be warm for a couple days so i figured i'd let it get wet again. it's coming along. i used a little to transplant some oregano, green onions, and a couple other things. just the base mix for the veggies, with the rock dusts, gypsum, OSF, and DE... and of course the homemade compost was my compost part. doing well so far!

yea, I made my pile on sunday, had to machete and axe my way through three feet of redwood roots that grew up into m old pile.
That wasn't fun at all
All day Saturday me and my brother were hacking away
Oh, and if you want, when you tturn your pile, sprinkly alfalfa in there or grassclippings, and it gets it hot again pretty quick, seems to speed it up a lil
