We use to have a lawn care guy that sprayed all of our bushes and shrubs with a diluted mixture of dish soap and water. He claimed that bugs don't like soap and stay away. This diluted mixture is also supposed to help nute and water absorbtion.
I've also heard of many gardners spraying a diluted tobacco solution on their plants to kill pests and keep them away.
Anybody use either of these methods?
