Organic Cloning Medium

Has anyone tried any organic ingredients to make a worth-while cloning medium? I know vermicilite (which is organic), peat spaghum (which is organic), and perlite (which is not organic) is a good combination, but I want to avoid the perlite. Do you think using builder's sand would be a sufficient recipe exchange for the perlite? Oh, and for a rooting hormone I found some interesting ideas with the use of honey (if not a willow tree bark).

Christian for Ganja..... For clones, either Jiffy Peat Pellets or Rapid Rooters are tops. Both are made from organic materials (peat moss, tree bark, etc.) and work great. The nice thing is, with both, it's hard to overwater.
.
Myco fungi are great for helping clones establish themselves. There are numerous brands on the market, Sub-Culture, Myco Magic, Plant Sucess and Super Plant Tonic. All are good and will get the job done.

Hope this helps....
