Oregon Outdoor Growing Season

I am trying to figure out when I should start my plants indoors and then be able to move them outdoors 24/7. Would love to hear from fellow Orgonians to see when they typically start the outdoor growing(no green houses) Also, any Orgonian female growers?:wall:

Im up here in washington, so its pretty much the same. Its still a little early. You ve gotta wait untill theres no chance that there will be freezing temps. Up here we're gonna be seeing some temps under 35 in the next couple weeks.. I think in a month or so you should be good to put them out, but you can start em indoors anytime between now and then.. Southern oregon you mught be able to put them out a bit earlier..

Spring starts March 20th. I would start right now and veg indoors for a month. Plan on transplanting them between March 20th - April 1st.

I have heard that here in Oregon, it will make no difference if you start them as soon as you can, or if you wait until Mid June or so. The warmer soil will get them going much faster. It can stay pretty shitty here right up until June some years, like it was two years ago. Still, if I can find a place to grow, I am going to be putting mine down mid May or so. Transplanting in colder soil, even after last frost has passed, will stress and stunt the plant so it won't grow as quickly. Wait as long as you can is what I hear...
