Opinions and advice on a potential set up

Hi All

I’ve posted a couple of times now and carrying on with a ton of reading. I think I am nearly there now but want some second opinions on a grow set up that may work.

I am trying to average at least 2 oz a month minimum to cover my personal. The room will be a garage that has been stud walled and insulated. Only heating is electric blow heater which of course is expensive to run 24/7. As it’s winter now, I am thinking of starting off with autos on a 400w HPS so this can run 20 on 4 off or 18 on 6 off and the HPS can double up as a heater. Then when the warmer months come I will get a Mars Hydro ts1000 and grow photos as don’t have to worry about the cold. I am trying to avoid running a heater 24/7 due to running costs.

I am limited on space and have to keep this low key. So either 1 big plant or a mini sea of green will be needed to achieve my goal. The room I will be growing in during winter goes down to about 0-5 degrees Celsius. I am going to vent out into the same room, not direct out the window but will keep the window open for air to circulate. It’s a smallish room and although insulated there is a draft still running through. When the lights are off I will run the elec heater to keep temps up.

in summary the grow will consist of the following;

1 bigger pot or 2- 4 small pots.
soil grow
400w HPS
4 inch fox carbon filter and fan
Passive intake with 1 or 2 small oscillating fans
Flora grow nutes
PH up and down
PPM meter
Hygrometer
Thermometer

now as for the tent. This is what I am stuck on. I am caught between the 3 options;

Mars hydro tent - 70x70x160cm

DR60 - 60x60x170cm

or least preferred choice due to room 80x80x18

I am really not sure at the moment which tent to get. I do prefer Mars hydro but understand height is important.

How does all this sound? This this is doable? Any advices would be appreciated, esp on the tent front!

my fav tent size to start is 1200x1200(4x4ft) with a hps of 600w you could go smaller

but your yield has a direct corrolation with your grow expeience
