Ona Gel

Before I proceed, I just want to say I read the Odor control thread, and did not find my answer.

I am looking to get some of this ona gel, but don't really understand how to use it.

How much do I use?

How exactly do I use it?

I have one plant in my room with an air intake/outtake system.

The smell is in the room which the outtake is going (Of Course), but is starting to make my house smell.

I am fairly new to the odor control due to my growing outside. If I get a carbon filter will the odor be totally controlled, and does it ever have to be replaced?

Thanks for the help?

If you get the right size carbon filter for the inline fan, grow space and amount of plants you have then yes it will completely remove the odors of cannabis. Eventually the carbon filter will either need to be replaced or you'll need to do one of three things, drill out the rivets of the top duct flange, take out the carbon, rinse in peroxide and then bake in the oven for a couple hours, from what Ive heard this method is hit or miss and doesn't always work so well, the second thing you could do is the same as the first only you replace the used carbon with new carbon, this sounds easy but unless you have some kind of shake table your gonna have a hard time getting the carbon to compact into the filter case between the wire screen, Ive heard of people putting their washing machine off balance and using that as a shake table. The third thing you could is to just DIY your own carbon filter, its cheap, simple to make and you can get all the parts except the carbon at home depot, this is what I'm going to do based of this DIY thread: (https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/558980-other-best-diy-carbon-filter.html) In the thread he uses a 6" to 4" duct reducer, so the 6" portion will house the carbon and the 4" part will be the flange for the ducting/inline fan, personally I'll be using a 8" to 6" duct reducer as I have a 6" inline fan so I don't want to reduce the CFM's anymore than I have to, it also allows me to make the filter bigger and use more carbon so I can remove more odor and replace the carbon less frequently, also, by using the 8" to 6" duct reducer you can use a 6" metal coffee can (I'm using a 27.8OZ Great Value metal coffee can) in place of the 6" duct end cap and the 6" duct collar, this saves about $14. Well good luck and keep us posted.

carbon filters are a must. i dont see how people grow with out them.
you risk the chance of loosing your crop or going to jail every time someone comes in your house. carbon fillters are the shit and work well.

uno jell is really good i have lots of it all you do is open the lid and it does it thing and when you dont need it you put the lid on its simple one jar lasts month or 2.

hope that helps
