I'll begin stating my setup in order to better explain my setup. Currently I am running 9 individual lights (two 4-foot 6500K fluorescent tubes, three 2-foot 6500K bulbs, four 5-inch 100 watt equivalent cfl's at 5500K), the lights are as close to the plants as possible, with the cfl's being no more than three inches from the plants shining at a horizontal angle. The walls of the grow room are coated with highly reflective tape, and I'm also running three intake fans and three outtake fans, and thus the temperature hovers around a constant 74-78 F.
Grow room size: 5'x2'.
The problem is that my two plants original two leaves are beginning to turn light green in appearance (the remainder of the leaves are looking good), though I am unsure what the problem is. I only water them when the soil shows signs of drying out, and I feed them about once a week. One thing I have noticed is that neither of the pots seem to drain or secrete any water whatsoever, could it be an issue with excess nutes and water locked up in the soil? One more thing, recently I had to remove my two plants from the grow room in order to redo the lighting, could the light green color be a response to stress?
