OK to add soil after flowering?

I switched over to 12/12 about a week ago. 2 of my 3 plants were female, 1 male so it was removed. While removing the male I noticed new root growth above the soil line. Upon further inspection I think the females might be doing the same. As you can see the soil level is well below the bag (should have started with more, and it compacted a bunch). Should I top it off with some more soil, or just let it ride? The plants look fine.

Wouldnt hurt to cover it up-looks good!

If you have any mykoz spread a thin layer out before adding more soil. You can even scar up the part of the trunk that’s getting buried & hit it with some clonex over the wounds to promote root growth. It may set you back a few days to heal, but I’m almost positive it’s worth it. Can’t go wrong with more roots.

Pop a new seed and slide it in that spot. Maybe 2. Why not?
IF I was REALLY motivated I'd move that small one off to the far right into place. However those two, her and the one top right, are hydro and I don't feel like messing with the hoses again until after harvest.

With 12 clones off these 4 plants, and a second 4x4 just setup for when they sprout roots, I'm more inclined to let them stretch out and just finish the grow in peace.

Looks like you have several inches of room to add more soil. You can add more if you want. I get surface roots often. Sometimes I cover them sometimes I don't. I've never noticed any difference either way.
