No it doesnt, just dont cut off too many. I had a damaged budsite today that I cut off, first I dropped a piece of wood on it then we had a light frost, it kinda killed the top of the bud. So I just cut it off today, its drying now, im gonna hit it in the bong once its dry.

Id say no more than 1/3 bro. And yes make sure they are sharp clean sissors. I like to run mine under really hot water and soap them wipe them off with a paper towel.
