I have joked about it a few times, after reading some people said part of caring for a plant is talking to it, and what not, and I think actually convinced a few newbies to do it, but how many of us (besides me, I have caught myself doing it several times) actually talk to our plants?
I have caught myself, looking at the clock, and then turning to tell my plants 'OK, you are going outside in about an hour to get some sun.', or at night, 'Good night, see you in the morning....'.

I don't think I'll get to make one of these in the front yard this year, last year I got the boot when I tried to make a misses Claus, IDK if the tits were too pointy, or what, but..........
I can just imagine what the response to this would be. :(

I talk to my plants all the time infact I didn't realise how much I did until my grandson who is 3yrs old followed me up into the attic and he looked at the plants and said "you girls are so beautiful and are growing so well"and he then picked up the magnifying glass and examined them. When we come to go he said"bye girls see you tomorrow" he then told my next door neighbour in the garden that Nannys girls in the attic were beautiful and were going to grow lots of tomatoes bless him:oops:

and this is why I don't let my kids around my grow anymore. my youngest sees plants on tv documentaries and announces....look! daddy's plants! omg. heart attack.

I tell them everything is going to be alright and that I love them and that I will take care of them. Then just as they look sexy as hell I pull the old texas chain saw massacre slash. :eyesmoke:

I used to talk to my plants, even play some bob marley for them. I make sure NEVER to mention the fact that they will be chopped and smoked. Also I blow on them for carbbon dioxide and I touch them frequently. Man I wish I was growing again :(

At first I was going to say now, but once in awhile I catch myself telling them how good they look.

I don't have a lot of friends, though.

The pic he posted was 'The Rock' from wrestling, his actual name is Dwayne Johnson.
The pose, with the raised eyebrow is one of the guy's trademarks.

yeah but he posted it in lue of what I said. What does the pic have to do with my statement besides maybe he thought what I said was weird. I love my plants I treat them as best as I can.

I don't believe it was meant in a bad way, I would interpret it to be a raised eyebrow, like 'Really?'
