I dont think growing bagseed is a good idea because it is most likely a waiste of time as the seeds are very likely to contain hermaphroditical plants (otherwise how would the seed got in the weed in the first place?)

the risk of waisting time and money on bad genetics is too high in my oppinion but I wish you good luck with your experiment

You do realize all fem seeds are stressed artificially?

kind of. I have read about it but I dont think I fully understand what is going on to make feminized seeds.
But I do know that cannabis with seeds in it is of lower quality than cannabis with no seeds in it and my conclusion therefore seems logical to me. Maybe I have got it wrong, I dont know. I think when Cannabis buds contain seeds it is mostly due to instable breeding. I only had this issue with one Strain so far (Royal Queen Seeds Gorilla Glue)

That is not correct. In fact, there are cannabinoids present in seeded flowers that aren't present in unseeded. Yield decreases, however, due to seed production. There are several ways to stress female plants into making male flowers, and some strains are more stable than others.

always nice to learn, thank you :leaf:
Any time. Also forgot to mention that Gorilla glue is somewhat notorious for being unstable. I've seen several people grow lots of different strains no problem, but have GG go herm on them. I have a buddy who grows it without issue, but he grows a cut he got, not from seed. I don't get all the hype with these new strains, TBH. GG gives me a "hangover" when I come down off it.

It's also important to note here that if you ha e bagseed it could be from an unculled male, or accidental production contamination. So make sure you check your bag seed plants for males.
