Odor Problems

I have a 10x10 room with a 400HPS. Right now I'm low on funds so my ventilation includes a standard fan in my window as exhaust, somehow managed to block the light using panda film with it still exhausting a good amount of air. I also do not have an aircooled hood yet.
Within a month though ill be able to get a proper setup going.

My main concern is controlling the odor as im having issues with odor inside the house, and also outside with the air being exhausted.

Will a carbon filter with ~400CFm 6" fan take care of 10-15 plants, inside the house and the exhaust air? Or do I also need to put a carbon filter inline with my exhaust?

I will also be purchasing an ac hood and a 400cfm 6" fan to exhaust, so that will help with the indoor odor problem, but it might hurt the outdoor odor problem im thinking because it might pull air before it can be scrubbed.

Any other suggestions for odor control are welcome im not set on carbon it just seems like the simplest/safest way.

Thx!

If you vent your light by taking air from your grow then you should put the filter on your light exhaust. If you pull your cool air for the light from outside the room and vent it outside the room, then carbon filer a second fan for odor control.
