odor problems

I want to grow a 2-4 girls in my house, just in pots and using skylight/window light.

Will the smell be obvious to my neighbors? If so, is there anything I can do affordably to control the odor?

lastly, if I do this, and then try for a second crop by planting in the fall. what will happen? the house will be warm enough but the light cycle will be all wierd.

You could get a fan/filter combo for $100-200 easily. It would take care of Any odor issues.

Light cycles really depend on your location. You could easily add supplemental lighting for that last few hours if the sun goes down early and you want to stay in veg. If you want to keep them in flower you will either have to do them at the right time of year, or build a dark room to put them in every day after 12 hours of light.
