odor control

So I'm concerned about odor when bloom starts. I have a portable air conditioner with ducting going out the window. Temperature and humidity is under control that way with this summer heat.
Down below is a method I was looking into for scrubbing the air of odors.
2. The other way to run a carbon filter is to simply connect the fan to the filter and put it into the area that you're concerned about with no ducting. This is called "polishing" the air and a larger fan with more air movement can be used because the air is being repeatedly drawn through the carbon filter. With this approach, the larger the filter and fan you choose the better.

Im doing a small setup with a 1000watt light, though I was talking to someone that knows there stuff.. And they told me that my portable A/C is still going to blow out odor. Even with the carbon filter and fan recirculating the air in the grow room. Is this true?

He was telling me some methods that I'm currently researching in more depth, but do not sound like possibilities to me. One was cutting a hole in the drywall for tubing to go outside the grow room, with an A/C outside the room. Other was something about an A/C in the attic or something. I'm about ready to flower and am trying to find a solution to this.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Also I am not venting just have the portable A/C
