odor control question

This might be a stupid question but does anybody think this cat litter will work to refill a carbon filter It says extreme odor control was just wondering

I was thinking the same thing when a tidy cat commercial came on the other day and it might work. but I cant take a chance if it doesn't. ill stick with my activated charcoal or coconut husks as a medium. they both have the tried, tested, and they work.

Give it a try and give us the results.

You know you can go get activated carbon from the pet store for really cheap?

i would be worried about the dust in litter. Plus I doubt it would work for long.

Cat liter is designed to clump up with moisture.
I would imagine the humidity will ruin the litter, then stress your fan out.

you can get 100oz on amazon for hella cheap. I use 2 when im rebuilding my scrubber. coconut husks are supposed to work better than charcoal. im making the switch next rebuild date.
