Obama bowing to Saudi King

There might be a rational explanation, such as diplomatic protocol. It is important to note that while the United States is better than the rest of the world, it would not do for a person like Obama to go out of his way to ignore protocol, and treat the rest of the world with disrespect.

Of course, if there is no rational explanation, then one can only wonder why the army hasn't mutinied yet....

In saudi speak, one must bow low to the King. Of course, Briton has no oil. If it weren't for the oil, Saudi Arabia would be on the list along with Iraq, and Afghanistan.

Eh, sides, the Brits are more like distant relatives, I wouldn't really bow to a cousin (no matter their rank) either.

Did Bush ever bow?? I know he liked to hold hands in the rose garden, and share some smooches to.

Yes he does ;)

I realize this might be cultural but really, holding hands, really? We have a culture to you know and it don't much involve me holding the hand of an able bodied man while stroling threw the rose garden. Maybe the king is Autistic or something. Now king don't go runnin' off those bushes have sickers on 'um.

He is just being a good diplomat. Obama is showing that he recognizes the king's position, and telling the king that he is important enough for Obama to learn his customs.
The video compares his greetings to two British figures, but if he had bowed deeply to them it would have been weird.
He's just soothing the man's ego. Look at the king's face, you can see that it worked.

The President of America Should bow to no man.

why not he's as much of a pawn as the rest of us,

obama knows who's paying his wages thats whats up

but really it doesn't matter what any of us think, life is slavery always has been always will be, but we accepted that from the rich people who stole from others because otherwise we would be back in the caves living a 25 year life of struggle,

what ever happens with the bilderberg doesn't matter a shit we can all jump up and down as much as we want but its not going to make any difference, if you think all your life so far hasn't been run by these people then your blind but were happy to do all this as long as we have our distractions like tv and internet and alcohol and disputes, all of which is just to take our mind off out battery like existence.

I don't see what difference it makes putting a name on it like new world order it will continue exactly how it has done in the past except with a new image,

see they can do all this work and cause the credit crash and this and that but deep down they still have to keep us happy because if we are not happy enough then we will revolt and not take part and overthrow the governments and take control back, which is not what they want because then their monetary system becomes worthless.

Actually that is a good question Vi. I know the Bank of England is supposed to own 60% of the Federal Reserve. I'm just sayin'.

Considering that the Federal Reserve is no more "Federal" than Federal Express, that's just a business owning a part of another business. I do find it amazing that the mass population thinks that the Federal Reserve is run by the government; but in reality, the government has nothing to do with the ownership or how the Federal Reserve runs.

I was shaking my head when the media was praising Obama for selecting Geitner as his Secretary of Treasury - the former president of the company that put America in the place that it is today. Now everyone is surprised that the Federal Reserve is printing off another trillion dollars to pollute the financial system.

I've been doing a lot of reading into executive orders and boy is shit going to hit the fan when these EO's go into effect.

Sorry for the off topic rant. Like I said, I've been doing a lot of reading up the last little while on things and I can't blame this on conspiracy theory, because all the info I'm reading is from government web sites. CRAZY SHIT.

Let those who be deceived, be deceived!

Did he kiss his hand? If so, this country should be embarassed. I don't give two shits what sort of kinglike treatment "the king" over there is normally used to, no American President should ever have to put his tail between his legs like that. For all that hatred of the oil industry Obama campaigned on and continues to rail on, that display was about as opposite of that as I can think of in terms of a demonstration. One of the worst "politically correct" displays I've ever seen. Obama's inexperience with being a world leader is showing like a giant zit on picture day.
