fox farm isnt orgainc. and watch what pure blend to, not all is and a organic based isnt organic. for ttue organic i dpo0nt think you have time for it to break down for an auto flower. some foods takes 4 weeks to be available

I grow with organics. I talk about my soil mix here https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/370767-art-auto-84.html

I wouldn't say organics is all slow, they grow huge veggie very often :D I don't wana troll on it but... The Chleating salts in synthetics use EDTA's(botanicare/ Calmag + ect.). These EDTA's are made from sodium cyanide and fermaldahyde. Don't know about you guys but i don't like the idea of that. How much really "flushes" out? Just some food for thought.
Anything that has an OMRI rating on the bottle is EDTA free and true organic.

i didnt say anything about the plant growth being slow. the food to be available is slower as it need to go through a conversion or break down first. synthetics are already in an edible form. organic isnt.
also having omri on a bottle means nothing. omri is the mc donalds of quality control. almost anyone can have omri listed. and then theres omri cert. there are way fussier compnaies out there to get the foods certified by.
and having omri or not means nothing as most nute co dont want to have to expose theuir recipes as they do to get certified.

i use my own companies brand. kinda hard not to...green planet. or for youy running an auto id almost use a gtood qualtiy spoil with food in it. not mg or time release crap, then all youd need is some bloom boosters, would save money that way as the grow food would already be in the soil and sicne its an auto there isnt much time for veg. theres a few decent organic soils out there,. just carefull what you use with organics to not kill the microbial life..like chlorine, chloramine, and h2o2

so if i get gh flora nova for example, just get the bloom part, only for during the flowering phase? and what would YOU, since you sound very experienced, say about soil? I'm ordering a bale of pro-mix, and want to know what to mix with it. i was thinking perlite and earthworm castings, but i dont know ratios.. just a bit clueless and could use some direction.

you can cut that with about up to 30% worm poop, what Pro mix is it..hp or bx. i use hp. more perilite in it, so if its the hp no need for anymore perilite.
yes if your going to run with that flora niova you could use just the bloom as the worm is the nitro and that is 1 of the quicker available organics.

No one so far has even mentioned the simpliest and cheapest nute program for autos...as least as I have learned.....I've grown multiple strains of autos for 3 years now and the easiest and cheapest with the most hardy plants was with MG Organic. The ONLY need is to control the watering schedule.
Yep, I bought 3 lines of organic nutes as most seem to thing one cannot grow without'em and all now sit in a corner after little to no improvement over the MG.....Oh I hear it now....all the MG haters will knashing teeth and pounding swords to shields.......I'm simply stating what I've seen with my own eyes...

reason is cause its cheep its also the worst nute out there. you only get 3 elements of the 17 they need. maybe its cause you dont know how to use organics in the right way...and im not slaming your ways just not all use that stuff right....especialy as i said in autos with a short life, the organics take longer to be an available food so it didnt even relay get much food to begin with. try a hydroponic nute.... synthetic and say mg is better. also their element source is poor qualtiy and the processes they use are not the best...bulk manufacturing isnt qualtiy. its profits.

by the way, is this soil, coco or hydro grow? that kind of makes a difference, for hydro is generally better to do inorganic, but soil organic

edit: read, you are doing soil, theres some good mix recipes in the outdoor section

nobody read its an auto and would be almost harvest day that the orgnaics are a food. organics arent edible yet in the medium unless used as a tea or they take weeks to break down to be a food source...worm poop is ready fater but the rest arent. and yes in hydro organic is a wate of time as no medium to support the life

so what should i do just use the worm poop as ferts and nothing more? and a NON organic bloom formula? i dont know much about nutes or how necessary they are i just assume for good results they would be handy.

thanks for the help you guys are better shaping a noobs perception of nutrients lol

I have had great results growing autos in organics. I resuse all my soils, and compost my trim. I have zero waste. I recomend a good soil mix for autos just about 9 out of 10 times. Even a good mix with coco as a base is kick ass.

If you have a good soil mix that has been cooking(sitting there) for a few days you are going to have nutes avail to the plant. I only water with teas and add very little in terms of extras. Only the bloom boosters. Everyone has their preference, mine is to have clean smoke that synthetics haven't even tuched. There are also slow release organic ferts and fast ones..

Hydro is hard to impossible to do fully organic, so in that instance i wouldn't recommend it.

I grow autos all the time, and i use organics. Every plant i post pics of is organically grown is soil. I started with PromixHP, i didn't like the BX. I am moving to coco as the need for lime is diminished. I have had BAD things happen with MG organic soils.. I don't often recomend it, you see people have good results. I just don't think they are very consistent in terms of quality.

FoxFarms works with autos very well. I haven't used it as i do my own mixes. However you can't argue with the results seen with their products.

Just giving some first hand auto advice.

Edit: The worm poo is bringing is micro life and different elements not found in regular bagged soil. I wouldn't call it a complete nutrient though. You'll need other addatives. Welcome Harvest Farms has a great line of addatives that i use in building my soil.

I also didn't know omri was so lax in terms of who they list. I liked the idea because some one else has allready looked at the ingedients for me. I will in the future be looking more cloesly.

Thought i'd also add i use Hornbys big bud for a flower addative, i have also used shooting powder.

Edit 2, in my last post i had talked about my own soil mix. I will post it here since i am assuming you don't want to dig for it.
I will break it down for a 2 gal grow bag. Since that is what i use more often than not. There are 3.7 liters per 1 Gal, for anyone who is on a different measurement.

-1 gal grow medium (Peat/coco/Home Compost)
-2 cups sheep mauer (Or 2 cups "welcome harvest grow" not a poo product) For N heavy autos i'll put in 3 cups per grow bag, i have gone higher in some mixes. I use sheep because i have access to it, do some reading on what mauer if at all you decide to use. As some will need more time to sit and compost, as they are hot from the bag.
-3 cups kelp. I use the dry mix that "Welcome Harvest Farms" sells. For soil mixes
-2 Tbs Dolomitic lime.
-3 cups Blood/Bone meal. You can get it just about anyware.
-Add a splash of perlite to lighten the mix up, say 3 to 4 cups? Nothing says you cannot add more/less. If your base medium has it allready you may not need much
- 3 cups of welcome harvest "Flower Power" you can substitute some bat guanos for flower nutes as well.
-Fill the rest with Worm Castings.

There are plenty of other things you can add, and i do when they are around to use. I try to get as many different micro nutes for the soil life to feed on as i can. Rock phosphates are good, green sand is also VERY good.
Since autos flower so soon, you will want a flower "heavy" amended soil mix. With only enough N for 5 weeks growth from seed.
In the end you budget will determin what you do, a water fed nute will be less hassle than all these admendments. This mix should not be used on seedlings, you will get a very high male ratio. Seedlings in regular promix until sexed then transplant into your mix.

to make your answer easy here...yes use the worm poo as a top dress or mix up to 30% in the soil, use just water with the right pH for the medium and then once they start to flower get to the bloom nutes you mentioned. things will be fine.

the above had great results using organics with autos cause as he said he resues the soil so its already broen down to a food available source. and as ai said before the wrom poo is a ready to go organic. others arent. and the hp and bx in pro mix is exactly thew same thing except the hp has more perilite..hp means high pourosity..not sure on the bx meaning

Thanks for the help bighill and medi 1, you guys are great. I have like 5 buckets of USED foxfarm soil, twice used atleast. and i have alot, i never threw it out, still in the buckets. should i even buy soil? hearing that you can just re use your soil and use nutes to make up for it seems alot easier and cheaper than me spending 90 bucks to order a bail to my house, since it's like impossible for me to find this stuff locally (east coast, small town..) i definitely have enough for 5 autos though, and i used nutes last time but i'm pretty sure they're all out of the soil now. should i just buy maybe, 'marine cuisine' by foxfarm and mix it back in?
