Nutrient Suggestions?

I chose to ask instead of search because I dont want to know what people preferred in 2017 for this one....

I am ready to move from the Fox Farm trio... While it worked for me and was easy, I want to step it up and see how good I can get my buds...

Anybody using any new nutrient lines they would recommend? Soil growing.

Yaramila, megacrop 2 part, dakine 420 3 part, Athena core and bloom only, front row ag grow and bloom.

Just get any basic nutrient. You don't need any designer brand that has you using a dozen bottles. Nutrients are important but as long as you provide the nutrients the plants need they don't care if it comes in a bunch of shiny bottles with cool sounding names or a plain bag of Jacks 5-12-26. The ingredients are all sourced from the same suppliers and from the same fertilizer plants located around the world.

I know that you know this but I'm posting for others that think this line or that line of nutrients is somehow special.

Most people don't realize that a good portion of the bottled cannabis specific nutrients are all made from the same ingredients manufactured by Yara, Mosaic, CF Industries, and other large fertilizer companies at the same factories. Just like with LED lights, the brand on the fixture might be different but the internal parts all made at the same factories in China. Nutrients are the same way.

Advanced, Megacrop, Fox Farms, General Hydroponics, etc... None of those companies make the raw ingredients. They just buy them in bulk and mix them together. The raw ingredients are all made at chemical factories like this one in India.

You just need to look at the marketing hype vs the price nd decide what you feel comfortable with. Yeah a lot of companies buy their main ingredients from core common sources, but they each have their own proprietary blends. The main thing about nutrients is that you find the brand that you you feel comfortable about using, and paying for. For example I like Advanced Nutrients, I don't want PH worries and I'm comfortable with the price. People say it doesnt work but so far for me it has. Find a complete line and stick with it without mixing other brands is a good rule of thumb. You never know what is compatible otherwise. Once you settle on a nutrient line focus on using it properly. The nutrient companies have some of the best growing environments available and top of the line lights. When you go home and use the nutrients with a 200 to 600 watt light its not gonna get the same results as a pro with a room full of 1000 watt lights overlapping in a clean room. Learn to use the nutes based on your grow style and you'll be fine, and your grows will get better.
