Im using age old organcis bloom fertilizer 5-10-5 with good results so far. I went to my local grow shop to find a "boost" style additive and they sold me fox farm big bloom 0.01-0.3-0.7. Im using a ocean forest/light warrior mix. WAS THIS A GOOD CHOICE? Is it going to burn cuz their both for the same thing? i just want something to enhance and bulk up the buds. I hear good things about their open sesame, beastie bloomz, and cha ching additives too.

i dont use FF but alot of growers on here like it alot...and swear by it..it is my understanding it is best to use the whole line up of their products for best results..there is one grower that comes to mind..victor vicious ..or VV he uses FF and swears by the resulsts..he is not the only one..but like i said..from what i hear from them.it is best to use the whole FF line up...and FF is cheap..comparativly speaking to other brands..good luck

One thing to remember though, since this is the organics section of the site, is that Big Bloom is really the only 100% organic fert that they offer. I've used beastie bloomz, open sesame, & cha ching before, and I really didn't care for it. I just felt that I was loading my plants up with way to many chemcials, and even though I flushed them for 2 weeks, they still tasted alittle chemmy. Could have been just me, but I personally don't like them.

Grow Big and Tiger Bloom are the base additives, Big Bloom is used throughout the entire cycle and is the beneficials and base guanos.

Big Bloom is used at a rate of 2 tbsp per gallon every feeding. The Grow Big and Tiger Bloom are used at 2 tsp...

Using Big Bloom can only help them along, there's tons of good stuff in it to keep your plants happy.

Open sesame - first 2 weeks, faster flowering set.

Beastie Blooms - week 3-4 bulking flower sets and peak growth

ChaChing - final weeks, oil production, blossom booster.

I've always used advanced nutrients, but this time around I'm giving FF a shot in comparison.

You use a lot of Big Bloom compared to the rest of the nutes. If you're getting a liter of Grow Big, Tiger Bloom, and the beneficials you should get a gallon of Big Bloom.

Also you might want to try out an enzyme, like Hygrozyme, Prozyme, Sensizyme... If you can afford it.
