Nutes to use with MG moisture control

Hey RIU,

just looking for some friendly advise as to what Nutes I should use.

I'm growing Nirvana's Medusa Fems indoors with MG's Moisture control soil. The only additive i used was some sand to get the drainage up to par. I was thinking about going organic but eh, I'm not too worried about it.

I have 4 sprouts that rose up yesterday and was first wondering if I should use a root stimulator at all.

So, if anyone has a preference of what an EXCELLENT water soluble nute system would be.

I was thinking about ATAMI's stuff but I think it's only for hydro.

so ya.

Be careful. I've had seedlings burn up in MGmc soil.
I'm about ready to put some MGmc reared clones into 12/12 and haven't had to feed them at all. I knew this would be the case w/MGmc from using it last grow.
I have transplanted them twice this time, into slightly bigger planters with maybe a couple/3 inches of new soil in the bottom and an inch or so on the sides. This should ensure enough nutes for the rest of the grow. I'll probably hit 'em once with some kind of bloom (I use Schultz) and then just molasses to harvest.

Always water that soil until it runs out of several places on the bottom of your planter, then drain, drain, drain.

Thanks fishy,

Did you use a cloning gel or anything?

Hells yeah, I always end-up transplanting into 5 gal. buckets.

Schultz huh? Can I find it at a nursery or do I need to find a Hydro store?

I found lots of Schultz products at TrueValueHW store. I use "Schultz Take Root" powder for cloning. They also make a "PlantFood+" that I cut my teeth on in the 70's . . . 10-15-10 . . . it's a liquid. Comes with an eye dropper type thing and is added to your water by drops. I'd forgotten all about it until recently. Got some, as it would be acceptable should a nutrient issue rear it's head. I also add 1/4 tsp of Epsom Salts/gallon to every 2nd-3rd watering to help prevent any lock-out.

Yeah, with TP'ing and MGmc soil, I'm almost positive a grower can get excellent results without ever manually feeding their plant. The second TP I'm doing 2 weeks before 12/12. Plant 18"-24" going into 12/12.
Will know for sure around XMas.

I'm also using BushMaster to shape the plants as lighting allows for. Good stuff. Works great. BMaster1

Lest I forget, should a person end up with a WET bag of MGmc, DO NOT use it, as all the fert polymers may have dissolved and this WILL burn most strains. The moisture in these wet bags contains up to 90 days fert, ALL AT ONCE.
I got a bag last March that had apparently been outside in the rain the previous summer season. It didn't even dawn on me until I'd burned up a few sativa's. They seem a bit more sensitive to this product, but any seedling would burn given this circumstance. In fact, I worked with Scott's (MG parent co.) to figure this out and they changed their packaging to lessen the possibility of this happening . . . and they gave me my money back, which I spent on more MGmc soil!

im using moisture control also nothing bad yet any advice would be great like how often to flush and stuff like that thanks buds
