Nursing a plant back to health

So im trying to bring a plant back to health after I got it thru third party...apparently the said person kept it indoors for a unknown period of time with little to no sun due to housing issues. The plant is a good three feet ive been giving it sunlight, but the leaves closest to the stem are all dead but the tops seem to be getting healthy. I was given no info as to strain or even age of it.

can you get it in the ground out side ? in a sunny place (+5 hrs direct sun a day)

and remove all the crispy/dead grow .. once transplantet in some fresh soil .. use a bit of Super Thrive .. a few drop in a gallon of water once or twise doing fist week or two ..

I jus removed all the dead leaves it had alot of brown in the inside, but i dont have anywhere to plant it for the fact that my platinum og is taking up the only spot.
