cant tell what this is. ive been feeding them tiger bloom2-8-4 and open sesame 5-45-19 every other watering. thought they would clear up but this browning at the edges of fanleaves seems to be persisting.
i had brown leaf tips and edges curling under legnth wise and yellowing of leaves at the bottom of my plants. i wasnt going to cut them but this lady said they had done some study where the plant grew better because it was manicured. this lady is of course crazy but i cut all the necrotic leaves curling and turning yellow (funny that the stem of these fan leaves were very healthy) anyway. i just cut off all the dead pieces of fan leaves and dead yellowing fan leaves at the bottom. but some were healthy and green near the stem that i cut the leaves the same way you cut the leaves of a clone to conserve energy. is this what im doing by manicuring the dead pieces and yellowing curling edges. heres some pics
if those plants are less than 6 weeks old you are over fertilizing them just use water for the next few waterings dont fert till their alot bigger and will need it it takes a long time for a plant that small to use up the fertilizer looks like nute burn to me i killed a few plant that way as well
I think your plants look great. The outter, and bottom leaves will die off at times. If the rest of the leaves are starting to get the problem then I would try to find out the issue. What kind of nutes? Indoor/outdoor and whats your feeding schedule? once a week twice a week?
