been looking around the forum but havent noticed anyone mention this bulb,
its a 300watt dual spectrum (2700k/6400k) not sure of the lumen output,
heres the link,

300watt cfl on ebay

i purchased two of these for the midi grow im planning but broke one about 10 minutes after leaving positive feedback lol,

have a look and let me know what you think,

i also have 4 x 20watt (actual w) daylight cfl's, 3 pc fans and a kitchen extractor fan, do you think this will all be ok in a space of around 2x3x4 feet, im only planning on growing a maximum of 4 lowryders and if they do get too big which i doubt i can expand the space a little,

i spose i should really ask this in the right forum but may aswell hit 2 birds with one stone if possible,
does anyone know which seed website is trustworthy and sells relatively cheap feminised lowryders or lowryder hybrids,
i am quite tempted by dutchbreed.com's autoflowering range except theyre not feminised,
im in uk so would prefer a uk based site,

thanks in advance for any commentsbongsmilie

I've never heard how these work out. Give it a shop at tell us how it works for you. I'd say depending on how many plants you have that 2 or three of those would work out good or a few plants. Sorry to hear that you broke one, that sounds like my kind of luck. You could get away with the one, but your buds won't be very hard.

I hear a lot good stuff about this seed site http://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk/

As far as those lights all I can say is that they are on the expensive side. I would go with the 125 watt range of those bulbs

I don't know. Using 300 watts I would rather just get a 400W HPS and have much better light. I know you can't switch spectrums with 1 HPS but I've grown my auto AK's from start to finish with HPS and had no problems.

i think it was a waste of money. you coulda just bout a few daylight 23 watt cfls for veg and buy 300 watt cfl 3k cfl for flower...instead now you have about 150 watts of flowering spectrum from a 300 watt bulb

ok great, thank you for your comments,

Schmarmpit; i chose the cfl over the hps as: my electric bills are coming in around £480 for 3 months already and also im only using a small space (2x3x4 feet) so thought cooling may be difficult,

YungMune; i do actually still have 4 x 20w daylight cfl's which i plan to change to warm white during flowering,

i have a brand new 600w hps but to be honest i cant imagine using it as i fired it up just to see what it was like and the heat it gives off is extremely high and for such a small growing space i think it would be hard to not burn the plants,
also the police choppper is very busy in this area already having raided 1 house on my road fo cultivating,

im gonna see how it goes with the 300watter and the 4 20watters, so that should be around 250watts for veg and 250watts for flowering if i change the 4 daylights over,

only problem i seem to have in my box is very low humidity whilst the lights are on, (less than 20%)

im going to post another thread asking for help with that though,

cheers!
