Hi, all,
I have struggled for the last several grows with getting bud that tastes and smells good. My harvests have tasted and smelled poorly, no matter how much I "flush" my medium and plants. And I have come to realize why: I feed the shit out of my plants during flowering. I have read all the threads where people say that flushing isn't necessary if you know how to feed your plants correctly and I have come to realize that these people are right.
What these people don't mention, though, is how they feed their plants properly to end up with smooth, flavourful buds. I realize that this depends on strain, medium, nutes, environment, etc., but I would like those of you who know how to grow delicious nugs to volunteer your feeding schedules so I (and other fledgling growers) can get a sense of how to properly feed flowering cannabis plants.
My current grow, which I just flipped into flowering, is a SOG-style grow, HSO's Purple Trainwreck clones in 1 gallon pots of LECA, being fed FloraNova nutrients, with Hygrozyme (Grozyme), CALi MAGic, and FloraNectar supplements in a flood-and-drain tray. Right now my pump goes on every two hours for about 8 minutes.
As always, your input is appreciated.
