Northern Lights and White Widow Micro Grow

They don't smell bad at all right now. If you open up the door it is a pretty I still got some ONA PRO to cover up any smells that might come along just to be safe.
 
Day 66: Well I think I am going to be popping the top off of my cab soon so that I can have some more space for these babies to grow. Things are starting to look real frosty in there.

Day 89: Week 7 flower- Its been awhile since my last update. Everything seemed to be going well and wasn't getting any feedback anyways so I stopped updating. Its week 7 of my flowering cycle, about 5 weeks out from when they first showed their sex. I can already tell my yield won't be much. Maybe a oz per plant if I am lucky but that is plenty for me. Now I am finally in need of some experienced advice. I have a cheap microscope to check out the trichomes through but it isn't the best. By my best observation, the trichomes are currently clear/cloudy. According to the schedule, I should be harvesting next week. However, my white widow is ahead of the northern lights as far as bud maturity goes. So here are my questions:
1. How ready do each of these plants look?
2. How much more growing time do you think I should give them?
3. When should I flush them?
4. Can I flush both plants, harvest the white widow, and go back to giving nutes to the northern lights? Would anyone recommend this?

You want to make sure your buds are nice and dense as well dont pick them if theyer all fluffy maybe some better pics of full buds could help more.
 
Day 90: Here are some better pictures. I have had this nute problem for about a week now. I think it was from me not changing the water. I siphoned out the water from the res and it was kinda rancid. Hopefully The fresh water should help.
The pictures that have Yellow on the leaves are my White Widow.

Anybody have any opinion on when to start flushing these plants? Water comes from the same res so I will probably have to harvest at the same time despite the white widow being slightly ahead in the maturity of the buds.
 
Well I started my flush yesterday,looking to harvest sometime next week. I'll be sure to post up some pictures before they get the cut. Hopefully they blow up a little more in the next week or so
 
Whenever i flush i usually do a 10 cycle. Ill start by taking a little outta their res and then adding just plain water (however much i took out) then continue for a few days then its just plain water everyday (empty res and fill back with water).
 
this looks great! im subbed (bit late i know) cant wait to know the yield just got an ag unit myself!
did you use the stock lighting?
 
Rocka- I think I am going to do about a 10 day flush too. I will probably pay closer attention to the leaves than time. I know that once they start turning yellow, you know they have deficiencies and are ready to get the chop.

Eyes- Yep I only used the stock lights for the whole grow. Kinda considered adding a couple CFLs to get some light to the lower branches. My SCROG is pretty dense if you cant tell maybe next time tho. I am actually curious about how a 12/12 from seed grow in an AG would work. Everything I have seen tells me you could easily fit 3 plants in a 7 pod AG using that technique. I really don't understand why people rip on the AG so badly. It is perfect for growing a little personal stash with little up keep. Lovin your journal in the AG section too btw
 
Welp, did a little extra research and decided that maybe the best route for me to take is selective harvesting these plants. Any thoughts?
 
thanks i think i may have killed my babies due to not enough tlc but ceifin's is looking amazing! yes it looks like it could be a really good piece of kit...
also another question on your lights, are they the flat bulbs (with 3 bent tubes) or the square ones?

My bulbs are the square ones. There are two of them in the hood of the unit. Honestly, getting them started was the hardest part. After they were about a month old, my time into them declined drastically. I was checking them about 5-10 times per day in the beginning and it dropped off to about 1-5 after that, and now I am down to opening it up to get a little extra fresh air inside and to just look at how far I have come. I hope yours works out well! I didn't have any sponges so I went with a rockwool cube that was just laying around. Cut that down and pushed it into the opening and everything worked out fine. PH could have been your problem.
 
yeah just got a ph kit today and it was about 7-7.5 so was quite high! thanks i cant believe with those small bulbs you have got those plants! truly great work! also just got an air pump so will try revive my girls (or boys not even sure yet but not sure its going to happen...
