hello

ok i am doing berry ryder ............my first auto......the fan leaves stems are getting a purple tint on the top

i never done a auto so i am not sure if this is the way it should be .....or if this is a sign of my buddies are missing something and i need to learn what they are saying

i am doing a soil mix
potting soil 1 foot
organic soil 1 foot
local woodland soil 2feet
peat moss 1/4 foot
periligh 5 cups
all mixxed up and put into 2 gallon soil bags

i give them feedings from General organics line (go box) ..............first 2 weeks they got just tap(well) water ph 6 /116 ppm .....now they get what is siad on the side of the box....reduced by 1/3 since auto's like less then normals ph 6.5

i have 2 at this stage they are both doing it .....so it is a soil issuse or it is gentically to do this......so anyone that has growen berry ryder could u please tell me if this is correct or do i need to adjust things .............plant is 19 days old

normal
are you trying to keep them short ?
if not then try adding perlite to the mix atleast a 3rd if you go 50/50 they get even bigger

this was my first try at them so i wanted something managable ......i have 4 in 3 gallon bags..................those spourts are as tall as the 19 day old

ok so it is normal and i should just keep going as is ...thank u sir

the 2 gallon ones i am using as a controll and a exp with Co2 water ( one plant gets one does not ) the one that does has 2 cms on the other one

ya 3 gals they should be big already but ya too much water retention is just as bad as a nute burn when it comes to growth
