noob to growing need some help! please!

so i want to grow one or two plants
i have very little space to work with
basically a closet
so what would be the BEST and CHEAPEST set up for me?
and no im not trying to grow the worlds best bud
just want some of my own

i have a fan
i have Florissant lights
and thats pretty much it

i was thinking of growing the plants in grow cubes and putting the cubes into some kind of rocks
and what kind of light should i get
id rather have one for growing and budding
so which is best

sit down with your bong and read read read

just need some lights(gets some cfls, or some cheap plant & aquarium fluroescents for vegging and if you want some hps for flowering)

make sure you have the area nice and ventilated, keep your fan going, make sure its not too hot in there(get a digital thermometer that tells the temp & humidity)

get some pots (at least 3.5 gal or up) if you want you can use soil(go organic) or use planting rocks which ever you prefer,

get some nutrients(fox farm is really popular)

and also you could get some mylar or some sort of reflector sheets(not foil, causes some burning and uneven reflecting)...

you should make sure you can close off your growing area completely at some point for flowering so NO LIGHT gets in..
