NooB Duct Question

Just a quick question i am plotting my first grow tent/box whatever setup for my closet and I'm trying to figure out the length of duct i would need to run (I plan on doing 2 air cooled HPS lights and running duct from them) but i am trying to figure out in my mind what will happen with the excess ducting as the plants grow and i need to raise the lights.

get expandable duct work then when u raise lights zip tie it up

yupp flex duct works great for that

get u some hvac flex duct it is insulated if u need a short piece go to a hvac installer and ask to buy a short piece as it is only sold in 25 foot sections but they keep anything over 10-15 foot rest they throw away
