Never use the color of a cylinder to identify the contents. Only use the label. If there is no label you are risking your life. And it isnt legal to use a medical cylinder for a non medical condition. I wouldnt take a cylinder from my mom and trust the contents if there wasnt a label, no matter how stand up she seemed.
They're all rated for the same demands no matter what gas,and unless you're buying whole tanks,you WILL be getting downloaded from a bigger tank..color means squat, but using a non legal cylinder isn't really a concern now is it
Not sure what you mean by they are all rated for the same demands or that they are downloaded from a bigger tank. If by a bigger tank you mean one containing thousands of pounds, you are correct. Try 15x60s in 5 hours...that's real fun...stand one that's almost empty up, to get purposefully busted,when the cops surround it to empty it ,stand 5 more up on the other side of the lot,with spotters from each side watching..

T sized cylinders have a tare weight of ~140lbs. Lugging full ones up a slippery ramp was just awesome.
In my prime I've thrown a 60 on my back and ran a little...not so now..of course I'm retired also
