No ventilation during Dark Cycle?

I have a tent with an exhaust fan and air intake is through a tent open flap.
What do I do during flowing period "dark cycle"? I can't keep the flap open because light will seep in.

run fans 24/7 . Don't turn off until 1 hour after harvest.

You can run a flex tube or two into the tent, the filter will pull from those tubes like the passive flaps, but with no light, especially if you bend the tube a little on the outside of the tent. I do have a small intake fan on 1 of my intake tubes (outside tent)

Me personally, right now, my fans are on only when my lights are on. They are all hooked up to the same timer. I can run them 24/7, but would only do so (through a carbon filter) if they were getting stinky.

What is the best way for you?

I Exhaust my room 1 Veg into my Room two Bud...24/7....
I have air Hepa Style sucking air [no filter] from room 1 floor cool air and pumping it into room 2.... 24/7
I also same Hepa Style same air rate [no filter]... pump the air from room 2 back into room one re-cycling it....24/7
I run my lights Rm 1--2 am till 8 pm 18 hours...
I run my lights Rm 2--8 pm till 8 am... 12 hours...
When the lights are on room 2 I exhaust out air from room 2...
I have no carbon filter...
I have no smell....from the grow...
Yes I smoke 24/7 and that smells , but none from grow...
Sheiot is f/n awesome... I want nothing else...
Would you could you have the same luck as myself...

Who can know what best...for themselves other than themselves?
No one would believe, I get what I get from how I do it...
It's just, the way I do some things just go against conventional wisdom...
