no triches, worth keeping?

Hey everyone, I have been using bagseed to learn on, and some plants are covered with trichomes, some plants have absolutely none (noticably by comparison).

Are they different breeds? I've heard haze takes forever to harvest, and some of the seeds could be of outdoor origin...

I've already harvested some of the trichome-less buds and I didn't get high -- could I have harvested early? Or are there always trichomes if there will ever be any.

Thanks!

You harvested way early, the plant doesn't start producing trichs until about halfway through flowering. Even bagseed will get trichs. The only real thing wrong with growing bagseed is hermi genetics, it's usually all mexican sativa which is pretty fantastic if you grow it right. Smells and tastes like pine needles and a hint of citrus~

no king, you're way off -- the plant that i harvested that was "too soon" was in flower for over 4.5-5 months. barely any of the calyx had trichomes on them, and they were very small. the leaves had no trichomes at all (under 30x). the hairs were very long, tho...

5 months of flowering? holy crap balls batman. Thats a 20+week strain, sounds to be like you got some ruderails mixed in with your seeds.

This has gotta be a little exaggerated, 16 weeks is just about the absolute top it could take any plant to flower and that's only a few super hardcore sativas. Alot of the older South African strains take 15-16 weeks to flower.

LIES LIES LIES.
First of, ruderalis in the genetics would make for a shorter automatic flowering period, not the opposite, that is bullshit.
Secondly, this nonsense about 16 weeks being the longest marijuana will flower for, also bunk. Some Thai sativas are know to flower throughout multiple grow seasons, try six or more months until you see something worth harvesting.
The extent of your knowledge is not the extent of reality.

I have a funny feeling that there is a light issue??????
If you've flowerd for 5 months, you gotta have trichs....... Unless your lighting isnt upto par.
most cannabis plants are DONE from seed to harvest in (at most, for the marjority) 5 months....
Whats your setup here?? Is it under one cfl? in maricle grow soil?? in a solo (beer pong) cup???
run down your setup, we'll get you back on track.

I'd like to know more about this. You don't have to be an asshole.

I dont think he was meaning to be an asshole. He was trying to debunk something that some one else said on the last page, and give the correct information.

Not true I have seedings with trics and almost all my strains have triches in veg:weed:

whoa whoa -- sorry for all the controversy...i was way under on my lighting -- with 2-100 watts and 2-70 watts in a 5x4 area. but i now have a 400 watt hps thrown into the mix, and im loving the difference. the plant that was in harvest for over four months (close to 5, no more than) i only ever used water.

but currently i have other bagseed growing that is maybe 5 WEEKS old and showing no signs of trichomes -- hairs all over the place, but no trichs

i attached a pic
